2015 POP Graduation a great success

Young people enrolled in Workskil Youth’s POP (Positive Opportunities Program) frocked up and stepped out for a graduation celebration to recognise their achievements.

Sponsored by eventful projects, and with the help of generous donations from Natio, Priceline Pharmacies, The Fashion Pack Incorporated, Workskil Australia staff and Nutrimetics, the ceremony, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, was a day to remember.

Each young person attending was provided with a hygiene and/or beauty pack before the big day, filled with products and items donated by our pharmacy and beauty sponsors and Workskil Australia staff. Dresses and accessories were donated to some graduates by The Fashion Pack and Workskil Australia staff.

Graduates were awarded for academic achievements, resilience, participation and excellence, with one student from each POP group (POP South and POP West) receiving an Excellence award and an iPad donated by Workskil Australia for their efforts. Runners up in the excellence category were also provided gift vouchers.

After the formalities, the group gathered with proud parents, friends, case managers and special guests from the SA Government Department of Education and Childhood Development, for light refreshments and further congratulations.

Workskil Australia congratulates each and every one of these outstanding young people. We hope you enjoyed your celebration – you all looked fabulous and you certainly deserve it!
