Workskil Youth provides a range of services to support students who are Flexible Learning Option (FLO) enrolled in South Australian state-funded schools. Services can be provided to students from year 6 (primary school) to 20 years of age.
Case Managers work collaboratively with schools and families to support young people who are not engaging in the traditional school environment, but are still under the age of compulsion, meaning they must be undertaking some learning. Case management is provided by a team of qualified and experienced professionals who work individually with young people in addressing barriers to learning and earning, determining suitable learning options and developing learning and transition plans to support them. Case managers will also make appropriate connections with specialist services and accredited learning programs to support the young person's development.
For further information on how to participate in FLO please visit www.decd.sa.edu.au or contact your school of enrolment.
