What is the Community Investment Committee?

The Community Investment Committee (CIC) is an action-focused group of like-minded organisations, employers, industry and community members committed to making change. The group meets regularly to discuss the challenges facing young people, employers and the community and works towards real solutions.

The group meets online. There is potential for other events and even interstate travel.

We’ll also occasionally engage in team-building activities after-hours.

What’s in it for me?

Joining the Community Investment Committee as a changemaker is an excellent opportunity to build your communication and leadership skills, increasing your employment potential while working to address matters important to you.

Changemakers also receive a selection of these attractive benefits:

  • Gift vouchers to cover some cost of attendance

  • Access to free training and upskilling opportunities

  • Reimbursement for travel expenses

  • Connect with local employers and other like-minded changemakers

  • Your participation and new skills look great on your resume

  • There’s also potential for interstate travel opportunities (for some changemakers to represent the CIC on a national level)

Participants will also be credited hours towards their activity requirements.
