What is an Australian job service provider?

As an accredited Employment Service Provider, we work predominantly alongside the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations to assist diverse job seekers in finding their ideal careers and fulfilling employment.

Workskil Australia works with RTOs (Registered Training Organisations) as well as our a vast network of employers to ensure we support both individuals and those looking for staff, through every step of the employment process.

For people looking for work, we can provide a range of employment preparation activities such as specific skills training like gaining your tickets and licenses, work experience, apprenticeships, internships or even assisting with getting your driver's license.

For those looking to recruit staff, we cover a wide range of employment services including workforce and workplace planning to ensure staff are trained in all the right areas, specific to your industry. Depending on the background of those applicants, we can assist with preparing your organisation and their future workplace for a smooth transition into their role. There are also some employment incentives and subsidies available for certain candidates, which Workskil Australia can help employers assess.

How can I access Workskil Australia’s employment services?

If you are receiving income support payments from Centrelink you may be able to access our employment support. In order to access this support, you will need to be referred from Centrelink or if you’re already with another employment services provider, you can transfer to us.

If you’re not sure if this applies to you, you’re welcome to reach out to our helpful team.

How does the process work and what are the next steps?

Everyone is different; that’s something we value at Workskil Australia. As such, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to your unique job search situation.

Once you’ve spoken with a member of our staff we’ll assign you a specific support person or team within the Workskil Australia team. They’ll work with you to assess where you’re at currently in your journey and ask you some questions to help create a plan of action, even mapping out a potential career path. Whilst this sounds like a big decision to be making, we’re confident our helpful staff will make the process simple and even fun along the way.

Depending on your needs we’ll work out if there are specific skills or training we may need to help you with, whether there are work experience requirements or internship opportunities to undertake. We’ll begin reaching out to our network of employers to see those with current vacancies or potential needs that you could fill. We’ll then work to find the right organisation that suits your specific needs and goals.

Workskil Australia will regularly keep you up to date with our progress and provide you with options to choose from.

Even once we’ve found the right position for you, you’ll still be hearing from us. One of our favourite parts of the Employment Service Providers process is checking back in with both employees and employers on how they’re going. We want the best and most fruitful outcomes for everyone when helping people build their careers.
