Wage subsidies are financial incentives that reward a business or organisation for hiring from a diverse pool of job seekers. These incentives are paid to your business over an agreed timeframe.
Subsidies are available per job seeker hired into ongoing work. The position can be full-time, part-time, casual, or even an apprenticeship or traineeship.
The subsidies can cover wages, training, uniforms and additional expenses as the recruit grows and adds value to your team.
Wage subsidies depends on who you hire. Here’s what’s available:
Youth Bonus Wage Subsidy | Up to $10,000 when hiring eligible young people aged 15-24 |
Disability Wage Subsidy | Up to $10,000 when hiring eligible participants living with a disability |
Workforce Australia Wage Subsidy | Up to $5,000 when hiring eligible participants aged 25 or over who are ready to work |
