Workskil Australia supports the community through a range of dedicated services, partnerships, and sponsorships.
Work for the Dole is a work experience program available to participants in Workforce Australia Services aged 18 year and over. It is one of several approved activities that participants can undertake to meet their activation requirement.
Work for the Dole activities are hosted by not-for-profit organisations, or Australian Government organisations, and provide participants with the opportunity to develop skills, capabilities and experience for employment, and to contribute to the local community. Participants may also have the opportunity to attain a licence, qualification or other recognised skills. Participants are placed in activities for a minimum of 8 weeks and continue to receive income support during that time.
