Understanding how to talk about mental health and help someone in need are important skills in both the workplace and beyond. Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training course which provides participants with the skills and confidence to have supportive conversations with not only their customers but also their co-workers, whilst guiding them to professional help if needed.

Workskil Australia is proud to be recognised by Mental Health First Aid Australia as a Gold Skilled Workplace. Being a Gold Skilled Workplace means that Workskil Australia is acknowledged for its significant achievements in developing Mental Health First Aid skills in staff and embedding a sustainable and effective program within the organisation.

Participating in the Mental Health First Aid Skilled Workplace Program is a clear demonstration of your commitment to building a mentally healthy workplace, both to your staff and your external stakeholders. Upskilling your staff and First Aid officers with Mental First Aid training can increase staff wellbeing and provide an opportunity for early intervention and support.

Previous participants have left feeling “more confident in providing support for [their] staff and colleagues”. Labelling the course content as “informative”, “engaging” and “useful”, leaving them “feeling more prepared to deal with mental health [in the workplace]”.

Workskil Australia can support your Mental Health training needs, whether you are looking to participate in the Skilled Workplace Program, or provide training and professional development to your staff, we are excited to work with you and support your journey towards a skilled workplace.
