What is Flexible Learning Options?

Flexible Learning Options (or FLO) helps you stay connected with your learning. It is flexible way for you to re-engage with your education and keep your goals on track. FLO is different to Transition to Work TtW, Youth Jobs PaTH Internships and Allied Health.

How will this program support me?

As part of the FLO program, you will be linked with a dedicated Case Manager, who is not a teacher. These Case Managers will work collaboratively with your school and family to ensure you get the support that is right for you. We will work together to:

  • Improve your reading, writing and maths skills.
  • Build the skills to go onto further study.
  • Set your self-directed goals.
  • Explore your employment and education pathways.
  • Plan for your future.

How do I access this support?

To access FLO you must be both:

  • Enrolled in a SA Government school.
  • From Year 8 up to the age of 21.

You must be referred by your school to access the program. So speak to your school about enrolling in FLO.
