    National Reconciliation Week

    Each year National Reconciliation Week (NRW) occurs between 27 May to 3 June and explores a new theme which focuses on an area of importance to continue our reconciliation journey. The 2020 NRW theme is #InThisTogether. Reconciliation Australia have said that this theme “is now resonating in ways we could not have foreseen when we announced it last year, but it reminds us whether in a crisis or in reconciliation we are all #InThisTogether.” Read More

    Sharn's* Story

    Sharn* joined the Work Ready, Release Ready (WRRR) program in April 2018 from the Adelaide Pre-Release Centre. Prior to her incarceration, she had a history of substance use that began at the age of 13 years old, and had a child at an early age. She had no work history and very limited education. During her incarceration, Sharn* identified that she wanted to study and find employment, however options for education at the prison were limited at the time. Read More
