Pre-Employment Programs

Workskil Australia operates a diverse range of pre-employment programs that equip participants with the necessary skills and qualifications to work in specific industries. We currently operate the below pre-employment programs for those with a criminal history or who are currently within correctional services:

Road to Redemption

Road to Redemption supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with a criminal history to build skills and gain employment within the construction industry. Participants can earn a Certificate II in Construction while building general employability and Mental Health First Aid skills.

Graduation takes place during an Industry Engagement Lunch, which is also an opportunity for participants to network with potential employers.

Out2Work is the first program of its kind. Individuals within South Australian prisons can participate and gain a Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure for employment within mining and construction. Participants have the opportunity to network with interested employers within correctional facilities and can be ready to start a job upon release.
